Types of STDs in this test
STD Standard - Male -
80% of sexually transmitted diseases are asymptomatic (do not display any symptoms), however, if symptoms do occur, they are likely to present themselves within two weeks of disease.
General symptoms for Chlamydia and Gonorrhea
- pain or burning sensation while urinating
- uncomfortable feeling during ejaculation
- discharge from urethra
- bleeding from the penis
- pain in the scrotum
- anal mucous discharge or blood loss
- translucent to whitish discharge from the penis: specific for Chlamydia
- yellow-green discharge from the penis ("drip"): specific for Gonorrhea, present in around 90% of infections
Chlamydia and Gonorrhea
Incubation period for the above mentioned infections vary between 1-14 days and can extend to 21 days, therefore most sources recommend getting tested after at least 14 days or more.
